Sarysma's credentials include over ten years of dance training in ballet, jazz, and tap. She has been bellydancing for over five years and has studied with the best Raqs Sharqi teachers in the tri-state area, including Azhia and Valerie Rushmere of Philadelphia, and Almaaza of Wilmington, Delaware. Additionally, Sarysma received her "Journey Through Egypt" Level 1 Certification in August 2008 and Level 2 Certification in February 2009 from Sahra Saeeda.
Sarysma pursues advanced training through workshops with internationally famed dancers including:
